DIY hat making is really rewarding. Who knew? Hell on the flexor tendons, but very good for the serotonin. I am quite obnoxiously pleased with myself. Also covered in glue, felt-fuzz and paint.

Actually, I'd never fully realised the velcro-like properties of felt before. Everything in my room is now stuck to the damn hat, which is supposed to be a shako but is so smothered in fluff and cat-hair that it looks like a tie-dyed busby. Ah well.
