Yes! Well, I'm assuming my parents did it. I do sometimes suspect them of mounting deliberate, Gaslight-style campaigns to drive me insane. (And they've just put up the rent. I think they're trying to tell me something).
Okay, yes, the cat-related theory sounds plausible, but in this household, who knows? My mother may be propitiating The Elder Gods or my dad may have put them down and forgotten about them. Neither of those explanations is particularly unlikely. Ask sospan if you don't believe me.
